Deleting Your Account
We're sorry to see you go! If you'd like to delete your account, here's what to expect:
To start the deletion process:
Open Account Settings (tap the profile icon) → Delete Account
You'll see two confirmation steps to protect your data:
- First confirmation: We'll remind you that deleting your account is permanent and all your data will be lost. If you have an active subscription, we'll remind you that deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription, and you may wish to cancel it separately. You can tap "Manage Subscription" to open your subscription settings directly.
- Second confirmation: To prevent accidental deletion, we'll ask you to type "delete" to confirm. At this step, we'll let you know that your account will be permanently deleted in 14 days.
After you confirm:
- Your account will be flagged for deletion in our system
- You'll see a confirmation message: "Your account will be permanently deleted in 14 days"
- You'll be signed out immediately
- Within 14 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently removed
During the 14-day period, your account is inaccessible and no data is processed. Deleted data includes your profile information, authentication credentials, app data, and usage history. Data required for legal or financial compliance (if any) is retained only as required by law.
The 14-day delay is a safety period that allows account recovery in case of accidental deletion and helps prevent unauthorized account removal. If you have any concerns or feedback about why you're leaving, we'd love to hear from you at support@1g1m.app.
